Direct Fired LPG Vaporizer

As its name implies, a Direct Fired vaporizer uses direct flame to vaporize liquid LPG inside a heat exchanger. Requiring no electricity, the Direct Fired vaporizer utilizes LPG itself as its source of energy and provides a constant supply of LPG, regardless of the LPG composition. Its durable and safe design make it perfect for any number of agricultural and industrial applications, including animal confinement, crop drying, construction heating, manufacturing processes and many more.

Algas-SDI's line of Direct Fired vaporizers is designed and constructed to withstand the harshest of conditions. The units include time tested and proven components and a heavy gauge, powder coated steel cabinet, making them exceptionally rugged and ready for all conditions and applications.

The Direct Fired units are constructed per ASME Section VIII, Division 1 and the European Pressure Equipment Directive, Module H. All units carry the ASME "U" stamp, PED mark, and CRN's for all Canadian Provinces. The vaporizers are recognized by 3rd party approvals worldwide; UL (U.S. and Canada), CE/PED (DNV) and are the most commonly used vaporizer worldwide!

AS Direct Fired LPG Vaporizer

Direct Fired LPG Vaporizers do not require an electrical source for their operation. They are manufactured in capacities of 50, 80, 120, 160, 240, 360 and 480 gallons per hour propane vaporization at 0 °F inlet temperature.

Featuring a unique primary and secondary air burner that assures quick ignition, there are no openings or louvers at the base of the unit which could cause pilot outage problems.

The units are manufactured with a brass liquid inlet valve, dual liquid level control to prevent liquid carryover, and a stainless steel ball float with 600 psi pressure rating.

Encased in a durable, powder coated steel sheet metal cabinet, the door is easily removed for simple access and maintenance to burner assembly and temperature control valve.

The vaporizing tube and all propane piping conform to the standards of Section VIII, Division I of the ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, NFPA #58, and are approved for Factory Mutual (FM) and Industrial Risk Insurers (IRI) installations. The Model Numbers (AS-xxx) designate gallons per hour propane vaporization at 0°F inlet temperature.

AS direct fired LPG vaporizers include the following features:
